10 Questions with Matt Deane
1. Where is your hometown?
Southfield, Michigan. Right outside Detroit.

2. Are you married?  Kids?
Jenny and I were married in November of 1997. Anna is our 2 year old and Kate was born May 21st!

3. When did you get into the radio business?
May of 1997...playing country music on a small AM station in Bad Axe, Michigan.

4. When did you move to North-Cental Wisconsin?
August of 2001.

5. What kind of music do you listen to?
When I'm not at 89Q, I listen to artists such as Leeland, Needtobreathe, Sara Groves, Robbie Seay Band, Caedmon's Call and Mat Kearney. Many more too, but the list would get kind of long after a while.

6. What was the first concert you ever attended?
I'm thinking it was an Amy Grant/Michael W. Smith tour around 1988. I would have been in Junior High. I'm getting old!

7. Have you read any good books lately?
Illuminated by Matt Bronlewee, and as always, THE Good Book!

8. When is your birthday?
July 28, 1976. I was almost born in the car on the way to the hospital. My mom would love to tell you the story sometime!

9. Who is your favorite sports team?
Going back to my Michigan roots, the Detroit Tigers.

10. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Spending time with the family, enjoying the outdoors when it is warm, checking out new music.
