What Kind of Example Are You?
The last couple of months I have been hooking up with long lost friends through my new Facebook page. It's been a lot of fun! It has been neat to see what they have been up to, who their married to and how many children they now have. Reading people's profiles and reading conversations they are having with mutual friends has become very telling as to what kind of people they are too. To be quite honest, I've been shocked at the language some of my old friends are using as well as the content of their conversations that they have posted on their pages. Equally shocking are some of their photos they post. I don't know if they have a relationship with the Lord. It is not my job to judge their faith. I hope their hearts are in the right place, but their actions lead me to believe otherwise.
Looking at their pages, I got to thinking about what kind of example am I showing to others. Can people see that I'm a follower of Christ when they look at me or at my Facebook page? Do I claim to be a believer but my actions show otherwise? I know I'm not perfect, not one is. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I hope my life and my face book page glorifies Christ and honors him in all I do. How does your life and your page look?
