Join The Neighbors' Place on Saturday, March 9th for a night out in support of a great cause! TAE & The Neighborly will be bringing soulful beats that are sure to make you swoon. There will be a raffle featuring local experiences and goods. The Neighbors' Place helps those in need in north central Wisconsin by providing food, basic necessities, and education, connecting guests with services, and treating everyone with dignity and respect. We are Marathon County's largest food panty and only diaper bank serving over 400 households each week and diapering hundreds of babies each month. The Neighbors' Place will be rolling out new initiatives to empower and uplift our guests to improve their financial stability and overall health and wellbeing in 2024. Tae & The Neighborly, a Wisconsin based Soul-pop R&B group, found themselves playing music together in a very unconventional way. They were all neighbors, each one living alone on one floor of a five-story flat. Cake baking is a shared passion of the five member group, but in the sugar shortages early in the 2020 pandemic, they found themselves so continually knocking on each other's doors asking for a single cup of sugar that a group decision was made to all move in together and share cake-baking resources. And since everyone knows all good rhythms begin in the kitchen, it wasn’t before long that the group began to write and perform together across the nation.
