Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army in Wausau needs more bell ringers for the days leading up to Thanksgiving and the Black Friday weekend. As of Saturday, 450 out of the 2,000 available hours for the season had been reserved. “Every attended bell ringing location represents people who can be helped during the holiday season and throughout the upcoming year,” said Major David Womack, local Salvation Army leader. “Without the dedication of our local volunteers, many in our area would have a much harder time meeting their basic needs.” Major Womack said the funds stay in the Wausau area to serve those with the greatest need.
